My shifts have changed 4 times in the last two days

Just started a new job, really like it etc. However, my shifts for the next three weeks have changed 4 times in the last 48 hours. AIBU to message my manager asking if that's me latest shifts are set in stone? Every time I organise who's collecting the DC etc from school, I have to change it again, but regardless of DC, AIBU to find this very inconvenient?

I would definitely email say that you need to know as you organise childcare around shifts .

some managers do take the piss with new staff
