Weird parcel returned to my house, who did it?

Yesterday a parcel was 'returned' to our house from German customs having been opened and re sealed with border marked tape.

It was addressed to a man in Germany & the sender info had our address and a name of a woman we don't recognise.

Inside the parcel is a pair of wee sodden & dirty knickers wrapped in cling film.

Our house is me, dh & 2 adult ds. Everyone is obviously repulsed & puzzled by it.

I know it's a thing that some people buy this stuff, just puzzled as to why our address is the sender. It's an unusual address & it's written in full.

I may be over thinking it.

YABU- it's just a person randomly using your address to hide the fact they sell their dirty drawers.

YANBU - someone has done it as a prank

Yeah, someone will have used your address as they don't want the buyer to know their address. (in case they turn up wearing said dirty underwear demanding more dirty underwear 😉)

I'd agree with the above poster. I very much doubt its prank.

I think it’s the former - someone has randomly used your address because they didn’t want the intended recipient to know where they lived.

If it was a prank, they wouldn’t have gone to all the hassle of posting them to an address in Germany in the hope that they’d get rejected at Customs and then returned to your house. They’d have just sent them directly to you anonymously.

Thanks all. I don’t feel quite as freaked out now. Let’s hope Herr Pervy doesn’t take a trip to find out where his dirty knickers are!

How revolting. I wonder if English wet knickers have a higher value or perve factor than German wet knickers, but frankly that is a wormhole I don’t think I want to go down…….

I did know someone a while back who sold her worn socks online. She did it almost accidentally at first, put some second hand clothing on Ebay & someone messaged her for socks. Since then she's sold loads & made quite a stash. She buys socks, wears them around the house then sells them.

Whatever floats your boat I suppose.
