To think weight loss really changed my life for the better?

Just wanted to help motivate people if I can if this helps just one person it'll be worth it.

In January 2008 I was 15 and a half stone at 5ft1. So well into the obese category and v uncomfortable.

I started a New Year weight loss diet and as a result of this my life improved very much - I went from generally miserable in Jan 2008 to extremely happy by March 2010.

Things definitely took time to improve - they even seemed to get worse in mid 2008 - I left my job without wanting to abc had to relocate without wanting to I thought my life was much worse for a while but looking back this move was actually for the best. My life had been in a massive rut at the beginning of 2008. The weight loss actually contributed to me having to leave the job - weird I know but it's a long rather boring story as to why.

By March 2010 is effected another move. got in touch with loads of people via social media so was a lot less lonely and literally felt like a different person. I'd gone from 15 and a half stone - Jan 2008 to 9 stone - March 2010 so 6 and a half stone loss.

So weight loss can really improve life in ways that I didn't expect when j embarked on my journey. If one person's benefited from this post my job is done!

I lost 6.5 stone too and yes, I did find it made my life better. This was back in 2004. I've since put about a stone back on but I never want to get back to where I was before.
Lots of things have happened since that I may not have had the confidence to do previously. Not sure if that is due to the weight loss or just getting more confident with age though.

Congratulations @ScarlettSunset - that's an excellent loss! I also lost weight in 2004 but put it in due to a personal trauma but I feel that losing weight in 2008 was the best way to overcome this trauma
