To ask about how to turn off child lock on stove?

Looking after a relative’s house at the moment while they’re away.

The electric hob has always been fine, but I’m now having some issues with it. It’s showing ‘L C’ on it, which I think means it’s locked or the child lock has been turned on. I’ve been trying to work out how to turn off the lock, but not getting anywhere.

It’s a Miele electric hob, if that’s helpful (I’m not sure which model).

My cats somehow turned my Lock on the stove - to turn the lock off I hold my dry finger on the L for 5 or 10 seconds.

Not a Miele though - its an induction with a lock. try holding your finger on the L until it beeps off

Have you tried pressing the + and - buttons simultaneously?

I think I have to hold the lock and power button down on mine.

I think you have to hold the plus and the minus for about 3-5 seconds

Thanks so much everyone for the super-speedy and helpful replies! It was holding down the plus and minus buttons that solved it - thanks! I have no idea how I activated the lock in the first place …🤔🤣

This happened on my washing machine and I had to call the hotline for help !
