Outrageous - BBC News- WRT sexual abuse of female surgeons

BBC tv 1pm News just quoted NHS England & Government Dept Of Health saying “they are already taking measures to make sure this doesn’t happen as much in the future”
… AS MUCH!?!?
I suspect it was a misquote but it wasn’t picked up on.
This just shows how deep harassment goes - it’s ingrained. I’m not suggesting that the correspondent is misogynistic or that he shares the same view as what he just said - come on guys it’s outrageous.
These older people weren’t even brought up on a diet of mobile phone porn, upskirting- I just can’t believe the mountain women have to climb to stamp this out. Can we ever?

Yanbu. It's disgusting. These men are completely corrupt, using their jobs to get sexual kicks at their victims' expense.

It seems to be in every industry, and it probably always has been.

My theory is that these kinds of men historically did their best to keep women out of industries (unless they could pay them less than male workers), and when they couldn't continue to keep women out they turned to this kind of predatory power play instead. They just don't see us as real people like them.

At least now it is being exposed I guess.

I filled in that survey. Sadly the results don't surprise me. There are more women in surgery than there used to be, but it's still mostly men (particularly in some specialities)

Every single male alive owes his life to a woman. It's about time that men started remembering that. All they are is destruction.
