Regular poster but using an older username as not to identify. Would you judge a colleague for not going to something planned after hours if most people were going? I have zero valid reason not to go. I just don’t want to. I am not the world’s biggest drinker & although my colleagues are all lovely people I like my downtime and time with family and friends.

YABU - might not say anything, but I would judge a bit
YANBU - no I’d not judge. each to their own

Wouldn't judge, it's fine not to go. Only time I care is when someone says they'll come and then doesn't turn up, that's rude.
