Signs of a company in administration?

Hi,

I've had weird signs of a company where staff reviews reveal the business has been taken over / entered into administration.

The company appears 'dormant' under the companies house under the business name I'd applied to. The telephone number for the telephone interview was not of the expected south east but up north.

The company started getting funny that was I was applying to a town, still within my actual county but a different town (before I stumbled across the in-administration stuff on a staff review, totally them not saying) saying only people from its exact town applied. ? (when I queried why I was asked where I live)

I don't know if I should go to the interview and bring up what I've found about the administration / being under a change of ownership.

Not enough information to say, the company being dormant at companies House doesn't really mean anything, I assume you don't have all the legal details of how it's structured

The bit about having to live in a particular place is weird, unless it was miles away I'd probably go to the interview out of interest to find out more

It's 20 miles/26 mins by car but the Manchester recruiter clearly had something about someone from an equal Suffolk town applying for an Ipswich job saying we only get applications from Ipswich, There are many other towns in Suffolk I will enjoy asking about it yet again should I interview. I asked the first time saying was parking an issue with parking? or a commute but apparently not...
