This is a really weird question-
Earlier I was just standing at kitchen counter, when I felt a sharp itchy pain on my ankle - like the sting when you nick yourself shaving your legs-
I looked down and a normal house fly was sitting there on my ankle, I flicked it off - but there's no bite or mark on me at all- can house flies bite you?

What happened?

Maybe there was a spider on your leg as well

Are you sure it's not a horse fly? Their bite feels like that

definitely a normal house fly and definitely no spider - and there is literally no mark on me at all! But it was a really stingy pain
