Does anyone else feel like some people just come out looking for an argument?
I know people will say it’s since Covid but I feel like this was the case even before Covid. Today I was waiting at the bus stop with my children on our way to the park, it takes 2 buses to get there so we got off the first bus to wait for the second. When we came off the bus there was no one at the bus stop and after 10 minutes a man approached the bus stop and sat down and started smoking a cigarette. After 10 more minutes the bus came (so we waited 20 he waited 10) as the bus pulled up we went to go on it and he shouted at us “you’re welcome!” I looked around and said to him we was at the bus stop before him. He then went into a rant about how in THIS country we treat people with respect?!. I was really confused what his problem was but he carried on his rant on the bus, he wasn’t elderly (late 50s at a guess) and not visibly disabled as I would have let him on first if that was the case. When we got on the bus it was completely packed so none of us got a seat anyway but he then got off at the very next stop, I’m trying to wonder what I did wrong or is it just public transport that brings out the worst in people?
