Asking for DD. DD worked shifts have been removed from the tracker, not paid yet

Posting here for traffic. Looking for advice for my DD.

DD had summer job at Hotel she’s a Uni student. Pay is monthly and she started just before August. So due to be paid in Sept. She has done her last shift and is now off to Uni. They praised her work there.

In August She has worked over 20 shifts, some of the shifts are not showing on the tracker, she has spoken to manager, who has assured it would be corrected, said admin error.

He said it would be updated, not only have they not updated but now some of the shifts she has worked are no longer showing on the tracker. As she is due to be paid in Sept,

I’m cynical about the admin mistake and why completed shifts have now been removed ?

No one can possibly know! Every company has a different system. If she's worried she should write to her boss and payroll/HR to confirm her shifts. An email, not a text message.

She needs to raise it again and formally in writing. She also needs to take screenshots or photos of tracker to insure herself against future ‘mistakes’. My expenses haven’t been paid out this month because my company have transitioned to a new system, our financial administrator is tearing her hair out with all the issues. I am fortunate that I’m not relying on the money and knowing that she will sort it.
