Tim is note taking for an investigation on his staff member accused of stealing by another manager.

Tim is also giving phone calls to said colleague on how to help her in her investigation. (Dh is her direct line manager)

Tim also told her not to "text during the day" as he doesn't want his wife to get the wrong end of the stick but deleted the text thread as he didn't want his "wife" to get the wrong impression....

Colleague sent Tim screen shots of other colleagues threatening to hurt her so now that's why Tim is helping her decide what to say in the investigation regarding her stealing.

Tim also has mentioned in the past to his wife how colleague tried to flirt with him until she realised he was married, asked for his Facebook page but when Tim said it's for family only colleague said well I'll need your personal number for help and guidance when I leave this job.

That's nonsense. There are specific offences dealing with threats/harassment via electronic communications.
