Stranded abroad (Greece), flight cancelled yesterday, no news from local reps (thick as, deny knowledge of any issues). So we wait. And wait. And wait some more. Had text messages that make no sense, emails they claim to have sent not arrive, no update on when we might be able to get home. Call centre not answering, FB messages not replied to, no response on Twitter. Best source of info is hotel receptionist who is trying her best, bless her.
Other airlines’ coaches seem to be picking up Easyjet, TUI etc. passengers. So why can’t Jet2 cope? Told we’d get an email at 8pm today local time with further info but not heard a peep.
ATC was out for a few hours on Monday. Surely Jet2 can’t claim exceptional circumstances this late in the week?!
