Thr fact that Beyoncé now presents herself as a feminist really hacks me off. 14 year old me was listening to the lyrics above thinking that was the ideal dynamic in a relationship.

Wellll... I know the song's background and that it's just a nice song about a loved child. But with lyrics like 'I don't care what people say, to me you're more than a child' you can sort of see why people not knowing the backstory could misinterpret...
