Went to see The Who yesterday at Sandringham. Great concert with The Lightning Seeds and Richard Ashcroft. Tickets were usual...about £80.
Heritage Concerts sent out an email saying they had limited campervan/caravan spots available. Toilets & showers were advertised. We paid approx £80.
We arrived to a field of probably 120 other campervans.
7 toilets without running water. Morning after the event the toilet pans were chock a block and overflowing with crap (literally). No showers. No water points. No bins. When we arrived there was a small pile of plastic bags containing rubbish piled up - this continued.
So, if you are thinking of camping at a Heritage Concert. Think again. It was really grim.
