Curious about what people's lives are like currently. How much is highly enjoyable, mundane but okay and comfortable and content, and okay but quite hard?

And a category of extremely difficult if it applies to you?

Everyone's perspectives and definitions will be different of course!

For me, I am recently bereaved and it's hard to believe I'll ever experience extremely joyful moments again, there are none. For now. I reckon I spend 5% in almost panic stricken unbearable grief mode (so extremely difficult) sobbing my eyes out and the rest is a split between okay but hard, and okay but comfortable.

Sorry for your loss op, I feel the same, I lost my mum 4 days ago and I can't see anything beyond the next hour, I can't imagine laughing again, I know it will get easier eventually but I guess in the moment it feels impossible x

My lovely mum died 7 weeks ago and one of the things she left behind was a note for me to 'find a pocketful of happiness in every day'. So I am really trying! I am managing to have high points, experiences with the kids that make me laugh and smile, moments with DH that make me laugh. It will come, but the grief still takes me breath away sometimes. My husband lost his mum about 12 years ago, and he said the first year or so was pretty much just a fog for him but the pain does become manageable and you find joy again.

4 days is such fresh and raw grief Sad Nothing makes any sort of sense at 4 days @spanktastic
