Please help me figure out what to do with this room that’s off the conservatory. There’s no scope to change it / knock thro into anything. It leads from a big hallway with lounge, kitchen, office, utility etc then thro arch into the conservatory where we plan to have a sofa/tv plus a dining area. Little room (that I think is in danger of becoming effectively a ‘corridor’) was the dining room. It’s not got a lot of natural light. What would you do with it. Treadmill is going into the garage and sofas elsewhere, it’s a dumping ground at the mo.

I'd bulid in long desks under the windows with bookshelves above and on the other walls - lots of tall cupboard storage space
Storage for table linen, fancy glassware and dinner party platters.
Maybe add drawers for napkins, extra cutlery
Space for kids( if you have them) games and detritus.
You could even add a coat cupboard
One thing most UK home lack is storage.

Look at ikea hacks. I've used ikea wardrobes, drawers and shelves in a couple of places I've done to make floor to ceiling storage. With mouldings and nice desktops you can mimic expensive bulit in fit outs.

I would have it as a reading nook!
