Anyone else find this
I think he's worse than the teenager!

I do 'nag' him about it, doesnt help, and he must know him being attached to it winds me up.

It's twitter and fb he just can't leave them alone. He can't miss out.

Just coming for a rant really.

My husband and I do not have our phones out when we are together. There are exceptions but nope.

Bumblenums · 26/08/2023 07:09

Urgh mines the same with those stupid videos on Facebook and tiktok - why r some people spending all their time scrolling pointless videos about what are basically all shite? Who cares what they ate in a day????? Ffs get off the sofa and help me with the kids and housework!

TammyJones · 26/08/2023 08:17

I think with the videos there are some really funny ones, especially with the dogs and cats.
It like having a mini tv in your hand. A tv that only plays the stuff you like.
I work full time and run a house.
In my downtime I do love to garden, but other than that I'm on my phone
There are so many interesting things on it.
I use to read books but was finding it difficult to find positive books so I can regulate what I read now.

It is an addiction for a lot of people. Does he acknowledge he is doing it and it's upsetting you? I'd be saying to him he needs to go a week where you have his phone in your bag whilst you're together so you can actually talk to each other but it's actually nearby for emergencies. If he can't do that then he's an addict and as with all addictions It's up to you if you want to live with that or not.

Same issue here. Infuriating.

Heaven forbid he not know about some development in American sport the moment it happens.

Recently he got cross at our preschooler because DC managed to draw all over one of his pant legs in permanent marker- while DH was wearing them- without him noticing because his head was in his phone.

I said it was his own bloody fault and it should be a wake up call that he's that bloody oblivious thanks to his fucking phone.
