I am applying for other jobs but -

Had my terrible manager who never trained me, he’s now on extended paternity leave. He did no hand over with me. He deals with one of our biggest suppliers (£10million+ contract) and he’s also a good 4 levels higher than me.

I was told last minute by his manager recently to produce a presentation to a board of managers on this supplier who I’ve never dealt with. Now he’s on my case that their payments have never been recorded properly when again I’ve not set them up or had anything to do with it. But he never noticed this in the 2 years that my manager has worked with them?

I want to scream.

You should probably mention that you have just taken over and you haven’t set them up.

This could be an opportunity to demonstrate that you are more efficient than your manager.
