1.5 year old DS is due to start crèche/daycare in 3 weeks for 3 days a week. He’s never been away from me for long so this will be good for the both of us. His absent father has expressed an interest in restarting contact after not seeing him for a year, just wondering if it’s best to hold off until DS settles in daycare before reintroducing them? He has things going on at the minute so hasn’t yet got back to me with a time to talk about things (see previous thread) but I don’t want DS to become confused / unsettled by so much change in their routine happening all at once?
Is it best to introduce before or after DS starts?
