Prepared to put on my hard hat but I'm so curious! Several times now I've had nursery staff describe DS2 as 'a big personality in the room'.

I work in healthcare and we have plenty of codes but what do they actually mean by this? Interested to know as I don't see him actually interacting with others during the day if that makes sense

A big personality would be code to me for loud, potentially domineering or bossy?

There was a thread recently where the OP asked this, because her dc's teacher had said this at parents' eveningor in a report. Lots of teachers responded with very varied definitions. Some said it was a compliment and that it was great having children with big personalities in the class (some even said quiet children were boring!). At the other end of the scale, others said big character/personality was code for pain in the neck or attention seeker.

confident, sociable, chatty, extroverted, attention seeking (which is not a criticism). Is all.
