Are there any sea side camp sites? Within 1-2 minute walk to the beach ?

Not near you but Camping on the Farm at Aberaeron, Wales is right next to the sea. Out of the gate across a footpath and straight on to the pebble beach.

Lepe Beach Campsite is really lovely but is depends how close you want to be from Maidstone, it’s not far but not around the corner either

Don't do it! It's so noisy it's like sleeping next to a motorway!
I second Little Switzerland as you are quite sheltered.

There are a couple of camping places next to the Warren in Folkestone. Doubt you will get closer to the beach.
