To think my friend is being an unreasonable parent?

Talking to my friend earlier today about her teenage daughter who she was upset with a few days ago. She was upset about something on her daughters social media account and tried to take away her phone, daughter refused and held it from her when she tried to grab it. She has now told me she hasn’t spoken to her daughter in three days and doesn’t plan on doing so anytime soon. AIBU to feel that she’s being completely ridiculous and just needs to understand this is a part of parenting and you can’t just avoid your child?

You haven't given any context there so can't give an opinion.

It's abusive behaviour.

Silent treatment for long periods is definitely abusive.
