To think if I've not had morning sickness up to now then I won't at all?

13 weeks tomorrow and had no sickness whatsoever. Well apart from the odd dry wretching randomly but physically not being sick.

In your experiences, is it actually possible for it to come later on? I'm worried it's going to hit me all of a sudden or have I actually been lucky to not have it Grin

I never had it .Keep your fingers crossed!

WombatBombat · 19/08/2023 23:09

Also never had it!

Rainpigeon · 19/08/2023 23:11

You can get it any time but if you've been OK up till now I would feel OK. For me was probably strongest feeling around 12-14. I also didn't really have sickness, just queezy. You just have to take what comes!

Brumchum · 19/08/2023 23:12

Four kids no morning or any other sickness.

Merryoldgoat · 19/08/2023 23:12

Lots of people don’t have it. I had a bit but was probably only actually sick 2/3 times total.

Good luck OP!

EveryKneeShallBow · 19/08/2023 23:12

Nope, 3 kids no morning sickness here.

Emmaemmeline · 19/08/2023 23:14

I didn’t have morning sickness in either of my 2 pregnancies , had other symptoms though …restless legs , exhaustion , dislike of coffee ….

LBFseBrom · 19/08/2023 23:15

Not everyone has morning sickness. I didn't, I got up in the morning once when I was only just pregnant and brought up some clear fluid. That was it, no more.

Aquamarine1029 · 19/08/2023 23:16

Two kids, never had any morning sickness.

PimpMyFridge · 19/08/2023 23:16

It tends to improve as the pregnancy progresses not come on when you've not had it... Think you might have struck lucky on this aspect. Hope the rest of your pregnancy is also smooth and healthy mum and baby at the end.
Fwiw I had some nausea, worst in the morning, not overly bad, no actual sickness, and it stopped at 12 weeks.

Remaker · 19/08/2023 23:17

I never felt sick once in two pregnancies. I was warned by my dr that in some women it only appears in their third trimester but I’ve not met anyone this happened to.

Timetochangegonzo · 19/08/2023 23:17

Nah you’ll be fine. Many people are never sick I felt nauseous but never got as far as dry retching

DramaAlpaca · 19/08/2023 23:18

Mine started at different times, but not as late as 13 weeks. For me it started at nine weeks, five weeks and, believe it or not, as late as twelve weeks - but that coincided with stopping breastfeeding, which I'm convinced had a preventative effect. You've probably got away with it, lucky you!

peskykiddds · 19/08/2023 23:21

Out of interest does nausea alone constitute morning sickness? I never threw up but that's because I never throw up generally. However I felt wretched in all pregnancies.

peskykiddds · 19/08/2023 23:27

But on the subject yeah, I have friends who had no sickness at all so fingers crossed you've got away with it!
