As a mum of teenagers I follow a few relevant sites on sm. Tonight I saw a couple that summed up my parenting experience perfectly. First said ‘omg just celebrating ds getting four A*s and his uni of choice’ and the second said ‘celebrating ds 19 leaving his room and going for a walk in daylight - I can change his sheets and tidy his room up a bit!’
Glad both mums have reasons to be cheerful tonight, it’s a tough job at the best of times and when they’re babies in their cots none of us have any idea that it can be this challenging.
