Am I being unreasonable to ask to return a birthday present?

My group of friends - been friends since school - all turned 30 this year. I was the last.

I have spent between £20 and £30 on each person - always clubbed together with my bestfriend so given a present with between £40 and £60 depending on item. Always tried to give thoughtful presents - jewellery for friend about to get married, air bnb voucher for mum of 1 year old to get away etc.

Today received my present from three friends who clubbed together - a pair of leggings in brown camouflage print in the wrong size. Really couldn't be less me and obviously don’t fit. They have left the price on so I know not cheap and seems like such a waste to just keep them when they don’t fit.

Would I be unreasonable to ask to return to change size but also colour? In all honesty even if they were the right size I wouldn’t wear them in this colour way!

It’s an online only store so would require an actual return! Else I would have just asked for a receipt!

Just say they don't fit and exchange for a color you want and say they didn't have original color if anyone asks.
