To ask if you clean your walls?!?

Our bathroom walls are painted - I was brushing my teeth this morning and noticed that the wall by the sink is a bit manky - dusty even!

What the hell? Should we be washing walls? How? What with? I tried a feather duster but that didn't do much.

I've now checked most of the walls in the house - downstairs is fine except for behind the kettle

Bedroom wall behind our bed is a bit dusty. Ceiling is minging because we had a roof leak 😪

Our house is pretty clean generally but I've never even thought of cleaning walls!

I give them a wipe down every so often same with door frames. Due to sticky fingers and usual daily mess. I just use soap and water.

I do wipe my walls if I see dirty marks on them. I have all tiles in my bathroom and kitchen so wipe them over every now and again with a damp cloth.

A swifter type microfibres floor mop does the trip, obviously keep it dry, wipe any marks away with soapy water

I have a particularly dusty toilet room where I have to use a feather duster every couple of months. The rest of the house i do when spring cleaning. It's very annoying.

I use the dusting tool on my hoover to get dust off my walls - it stops the dust just moving elsewhere. Then use a damp microfibre cloth to remove any marks.

This doesn't happen often!

I just use the vacuum cleaner to get dust off when I see it.
I did used to have next door neighbours who would have horribly noisy parties every Friday night (and I was too scared of them to ask them to keep it down) and I'd decide the walls on that side of the house needed vacuuming very early every Saturday morning. Since they left, not so much...

No I don't wipe the walls but they need repainted every few years.
