To be fed up of the weather forecast being wrong?

Lighthearted obviously as I know the forecast is exactly that, but is it just me or is it NEVER right for your area at the moment?

Yesterday was gorgeous so I got the paddling pool out, but by the time it was blown up and filled it was too late to use. Never mind, forecast said more of the same today and I had the day off so was planning a nice day in the garden with my toddler. But it’s been overcast and windy all day.

We went away earlier in the summer and forecast said rain and chilly so I packed warm clothes and hardly any beach/summer stuff and it turned out to be sunny beach weather almost every day.

Last week I went to work in a summer dress and denim jacket and by the time I arrived it was torrential rain and I didn’t have my coat of umbrella as weather forecast said dry.

Is it annoying anyone else?!

I have 3 weather apps and they usually all forecast different weather. Met Office tends to be most accurate for me although it did say rain showers for today and its stayed dry. I could have had my washing out after all!

I agree. The forecasts have been very hit and miss this summer, although BBC weather seems to have been slightly more accurate for my area.

Me too, the forecast is completely useless, better off just looking out of the window!

I agree the Met Office app is the most accurate. The BBC one is waaay out

The BBC one seems to be really wrong recently.

I tend to find bbc gives me best reading but haven't checked it recently

Haven’t tried the met office one but find bbc much better than the apple IPhone weather app
