Though I would post here as the traffic is much higher.
For lots of us it’s the six weeks holiday and it can be testing. I have 3 boys two have left home and I only have a young teenager left at home but this still comes with challenges.
i remember the six weeks well with 3 young kids and quite honestly I dreaded it!
looking back I wish I had taken it in more, done more, maybe been more present ect ect but I can hand on heart say I did the best I could at the time.
so this post is for all the mums out there who are struggling and doubting themselves. Your doing great and losing your patience ( and your temper 😂) now and again will not scar your kids for life.
if you post on here and someone is mean ignore them, just by posting on here your showing how good a mum you are…because it means you care! So ignore the haters… you know the ones that say things like” wow you sound like hard work” and “ poor kids having you as a parent “
unless you’re locking them in a cupboard then yeah you might want to stop that, although my therapist said, there is no harm in imagining it!🤣

i remember feeling very alone and isolated at times and just wanted to say.
your doing great. Parenting today is harder than it’s ever been but your smashing it!😊

that’s not true. Some people want their poor decisions validating and are not interested i being told what they're doing isnt good.

Nice post @Nottodaythanku

I remember the school holidays too. It's hard all round. And everyone's a critic, especially ourselves.
