To have an extended family holiday every year

Would I be wrong to go on an extended family holiday every year? (Parents, siblings, necessary, nephews) This could range between a weekend away to a week in Spain. It doesn't interfere in our immediate family holidays for the 4 of us and the money always comes from my income not the family pot.
I have more annual leave than DH but he is so against me using this to go away with family and our DC every year.

YANBU. We do this every other year with my side of the family. What is DH’s objection?

If you have AL spare and can afford it then I don’t understand why your DH is against it.

I’m not sure what you mean by it comes from your income not the family pot. Doesn’t your income go into the family pot?

I'm with your dh.

I’m with DH too.

I’d holiday with my siblings and kids if it wasn’t complicated for diaries. I’m not sure why your DH gets such a say, it’s a lovely thing to do if you all get on.

As long as you don’t expect your DH to come too, I think that’s fine.

I get much more AL than DH. Me and the 2 children are going away with my mam for a week at the end of the month.
DH is just happy for us to all have a lovely time.
