Verrucas

Headchog9 · 14/08/2023 13:47

Looks like a verruca!

TomatoSandwiches · 14/08/2023 13:47

Verrucas, get some bazuka gel and make them wear socks in the house until they've gone.

Wannabegreenfingers · 14/08/2023 13:48

Verruca's and lots of them. Try the over the counter remedies and if they fail. There are lots of alternative treatments.

ManateeFair · 14/08/2023 14:23

Oh blimey, definitely verrucas.

Eventually they do usually go away on their own without any treatment at all - but it can take a very long time! They can be sore but equally they can often be painless.

They are, however, contagious. So whether you treat them or not, make sure your child isn't wandering about with bare feet in the house or public places, don't share towels, and cover the area with a waterproof plaster or dressing for swimming, PE etc.

You used to be able to get weird rubber socks for swimming with verrucas when I was a kid - no idea if you still can!

oh man! Thank you all. They are freaking me out a little. I’ve seen the normal ones but this looks like an extended family that has moved into my child’s foot! It’s disgusting!
Thanks again!

I remember the end of the school summer holidays one year and my 7 yr old son had amassed about 7 on one foot. They're verrucas
