To think this is an evaporation line

Clear blue, came up within 15 mins, does anyone have any advice please? Am new here not too sure how it all works! X

I am 12/13 DPO

I had a line exactly like this and it was a horrible evap. All pink dye tests were negative.

Try a pink dye as these ClearBlue ones are awful.

I’d do a pink dye test to be sure. It’s possibly positive but as blue dye tests are know for evaporation lines, I’d never use them.

Feeling slightly nervous as am a single mum of a child (nearly 5) with additional needs

It looks faintly positive for 12dpo.
Would you like to be pregnant? Having read your update I'm not sure.
Do get yourself a FRER as they're more reliable.

If I am pregnant, I will have a lot of thinking to do. I’m currently in quite a difficult situation. I own my own flat but financially am struggling as was made redundant from my job as a Domiciliary nurse. Plus am a single mother to a lovely son who does have additional needs and is very full on

I would think the line would be much darker at 12dpo. I've had darker at 9dpo.
I've also had evaps like this from clearblue.
Given your situation I hope the next test confirms it's just an evap x

I would expect it to be darker and clearer at that stage.
Get another test asap if you don’t want this pregnancy.

OP I am 10 dpo today and my test looks similar buts pink dye. I am going to buy some more tests as I don’t trust it?

Out of interest what is the best place to buy a FRER? I can’t find them in the supermarkets.

Hi, I would recommend buying them off Amazon. My rapid response pink dye ones will be arriving tonight. I’ve just bought another clear blue early response and I still am unsure of results as I don’t trust them due to evap lines. I’ve also done a pink dye test and negative but this one was not as high sensitivity one as early response. X

I think that pink dye rapid response ones are much better than clear blue from what I have been told x

Its hard to say if its an evap line or not. It looks like my test with DD2 at 9dpo but mine came up within a few minutes and CB are bad for evap lines but I think given the time frame it's more likely to be an evap rather than a BFP.

I think that’s a line. Well, it’s much more distinct than the line I had when I was pregnant with either of my two.

I had similar and it was an evap. Clear blue are awful for them i’ve found. I will attach my own. Hoping for the news you want. 🤍

OP if you're only 9 dpo you are unlikely to get a clear answer.

It's none of my business, so don't answer if you don't want to, but if you don't want to be pregnant, did you take the MAP?

Went for annual smear and coil had fallen out of place, not sure for how long!

No experience of the clear blue but I’d say pregnant if I’d have had that test. Fingers crossed you get the result you are hoping for.

In the picture it looks like an evap line. If it is grey not blue, that is more likely to be an evap line.
