Can someone help me please? Do I need to speak to someone about this?

I had a missed miscarriage and had tablets at home to pass the pregnancy. I was told to take this test (I was given a specific one by them) and if there were two lines there was a risk it hadn't fully worked. According to the instructions, the strength of the lines don't matter, if there is two I need to contact them.

But now I have line eyes and I can't work out if I'm seeing two or not. I feel absolutely fine, no fever or illness, pregnancy symptoms gone etc.

So can someone take a look please? Two lines or no?

Sorry just to add I was told to take this test 3 weeks after taking the tablets, which is today. I was only 6 weeks.

I can see a line. No harm giving them a call.

rubyslippers · 12/08/2023 11:54

It looks like a faint line (so two in total) but too be honest if you’re worried then call the professionals

SeaToSki · 12/08/2023 11:54

I think I can see a second line, but its not crystal clear so ai can see why you arent sure

LumpySpaceCow · 12/08/2023 11:55

I see 2. Give them a call. Sorry for your loss x

teenysaladandsniffofarose · 12/08/2023 11:55

There's definitely a faint line but I had a faint line until about 3 and a half weeks after I miscarried as the hormones can take a while to completely go, I'd contact your midwife just incase though.

Hope you're doing ok, take care of yourself x

SeaToSki · 12/08/2023 11:55

I think its worth contacting them. I would guess that they will then run a more accurate test to see what your exact status is.

WenchEyeBall · 12/08/2023 11:56

I see a second line. Was this photo taken within 10 min of you weeing on it?

After 10 min you get faint evaporation lines that can look like this

sodthesodoff · 12/08/2023 11:56

I can see two lines

Give them a call. I think it's one of those things where they'd rather hear from you than not.

Sorry for your loss Flowers

Testy11 · 12/08/2023 11:57

It was taken about 5 mins after taking it which is apparently when I'm supposed to look.

I will call them I think to be sure. Thank you!

I was actually still passing clumps of tissue until just a few days ago, especially when I was having a number two (sorry tmi) so straining.

Sorry for your loss OP.

It's not so unusual to still have pregnancy hormone present 3 weeks afterwards, but they will probably want to check that everything is fine and there is no retained product to be concerned about.

The type of test shouldn't matter, you could get another one at the shops and try again in a couple of days or a week.

But no harm contacting them.

Yetanothernewname101 · 12/08/2023 14:29

Very sorry for your loss. I'm afraid I can also see a very faint line, so would contact them. Better to be safe rather than sorry.

Calvinlookingforhobbes · 12/08/2023 14:32

Sorry for you loss

I found out I was pregnant with no 2 last Saturday at 12 DPO on a cheap test, this was confirmed on Monday on a clear blue digital test and my missed period.
On Monday, I was experiencing sore breast, headaches, cramps and serious bloating, however, since Wednesday all my symptoms have disappeared when I woke up feeling completely normal.
I simply don’t feel pregnant anymore, no symptoms whatsoever, apart from a sharp pain on my left side when I moved in a certain direction earlier today for 2 mins.
My first is two years old, so it’s been awhile since I’ve been pregnant so can’t remember if this is normal or not.
Due to only being 4 weeks it is too early for a scan so don’t really know what I can do.
Has anyone else had this experience?
