In hospital, give up pillow?

Have neutropenic sepsis. Feel bad. Have two pillows they are helping but can hear nurses saying no pillows for other patients. I have two should I offer one?

Not if you need them. It's up to the nurses to manage resources

No they can call the porters to bring them one from stores.

Its not for you to worry about. There will be other pillows. Your ones would presumably have to be put through the laundry anyway!

Yeh this is a neverending problem! Can someone bring you pillows from home? That would stop you feeling bad if you had your own plus they're more comfy. Just use bright pillow cases so everyone knows they're yours. But don't give up what you have unless you get a replacement.

They probably wont just give it to another patient, I would assume it would be washed first so rest up and watch some telly and feel better soon x

I have had a few hospital admissions and an extra pillow is always on my list of things to bring. They are far more comfortable than the hospital ones and “smell” of home which can be nice.

Message your family to bring one in today and hope you feel better soon
