To wish she would stand up to him.

My cousin works in a family run shop where the boss is always ordering her around and being generally unfriendly. Speaking to her badly in front of customers too. He isn't a nice person to work for.

It really needs her to walk out and stand up to him. She' says she can't as she needs the money.
She says she has looked for other jobs.
AIBU to wish she would do it he so deserves it, he's really unpleasant to work for.
The more she accepts it, the more he does it. 🙄

Why don't you help her find another job?

Honestly she probably feels terrible as is given her work environment. Don't make her feel bad for not standing up to her boss, it's really hard to do.

I'd just support her and help her look for another job. It's horrible though when you can see a loved one being bullied! Maybe she could say something when she leaves.
