AIBU to expect a replacement instead of a repair

Two months ago I bought a new microwave. Two weeks ago it stopped working:- the clock display is on but nothing else responds. It has a 2 year warranty so I rang the manufacturer. Engineer came and looked, couldn’t fix it and said he would order a new display board, some other board and, when I told him it had always been noisier than I expected, a new megatron ( I think that’s the right word although it sounds more like something from a Marvel film!) He said the parts would take 3-5 working days to come and they would then contact me to arrange an appointment to fit them. After 6 working days I contacted them to find out the situation. They said the parts hadn’t come in but they would chase up the manufacturers. We are now at 10 working days and I am about to ring again. AIBU to ask for a replacement microwave:- it was not cheap and I don’t really have confidence in a machine that needs 3 new parts after a fortnights use?
