Anyone had a reaction to eyelash lift & tint?

Sorry, posting for traffic- I had an eyelash tint & lift about 6 weeks ago. During the procedure my eyelids were really stinging but it was the first one so wasn’t sure what to expect.

Ever since, the skin on my one eyelid is sore, itchy and slightly swollen. I had just assumed it would go away but it hasn’t.

can anyone advise who’s had a similar experience?

Did you get a patch test before the procedure ?

I had a patch test with my first appointment with the (same) beautician who did micro blading (no problem with that), she also regularly waxes and tints my eyebrows- again no problem so I’m thinking there was a specific chemical in the glue / solution used for the eye lift.

I’m not sure if it warrants bothering the doctor about, it’s more a minor inconvenience - no problem with pain or vision.

You have irritated, potentially infected skin on your eyelid. See a doctor. Don't mess around when it comes to your vision.
