So I literally have minimal £ this summer and had planned lots of free days out (beach/parks etc) but this weather is utterly awful. We have been out but kids get miserable in the rain, I’ve then a mountain of washing/drying, can’t eat our picnics outside so the house is a tip with food, moan moan…
have a tiny garden with patio and am tempted to put up our old tent and make that into a crafting/art space where it doesn’t matter if it gets ruined-not like we’re going anywhere!
im so miserable with it all.

You could buy the five minute mum book which is full of ideas of games to set up for your kids, using stuff you already have around the house/can cheaply get

Are there any museums nearby?
They often do activities.

Kids cinema that the 11 yr old doesn't mind watching. Take your own snacks.

Any family you could visit?

Swimming

I'd suggest looking at the weather hr by hr and taking advantage of any breaks in the rain.

Libraries, museums, galleries etc are your friend.

Large cardboard box and crayons. Place children in the box with the crayons.
