To think this is incredibly lazy and downright dishonest of businesses?

Has anyone contacted a business of any kind using an online contact form and received a message back from them a while later saying

"We have tried to contact you by telephone un-successfully. Please telephone us on xxxx to discuss the matter"

When you know full well they haven't phoned you at all. Because if they had, you would see it on your phone.

They are just lazy bastards that want us to do all the work aren't they?

Recruitment agencies are the worst.

Really recently actually. They insisted they’d tried and then said ‘oh you’re on X network aren’t you, they always have issues’.
I’m not on the network they were trying to blame.

I had one like that but when I checked my phone it had barred the call as Potential Fraud
