I was driving home today with my dc in the car. It's warm so the windows were down. Three kids on pedal bikes (maybe aged 13-15) threw rocks as I was driving one has left a small dent in my car (I didn't realise till I got home) and one went through the open window but just missed my dd in the back seat. I was at a round about so spun around the kids had stopped further along the street and I had a right bollocking at them.

I'm now at home and have calmed down. I'm starting to wondering if I over reacted? I was so angry at the time, they were not small rocks could have smashed the window, caused an accident and I think at the time I was just angry it nearly hit my daughter. I'm annoyed at the dent but lucky enough to have a friend who can fix it for me. Just wondering if I should gave just kept driving home.

You need to report to the police, were you in an area with CCTV?

ETA I haven't seen these kids before this happened maybe 5mins away from my home.

I'm not entirely sure if there is any cctv I will have a look when I drive past tomorrow

I bollocked a group of teens in our local shopping centre who were kicking shit out of the little ride-in cars that are for hire.
