Not to prompt fertility clinic to invoice me

I've had various fertility investigations at my clinic and they always invoice me before the appointment, or very soon after. A month ago I had some tests that they should have charged me £600 for, but they never sent me an invoice. I'm hoping I accidentally got that free because of an admin cockup and I don't really want to chase it but if I end up doing IVF later I don't want them to say hey you never paid for these tests and refuse to treat me because I don't pay for things?? Is that possible if they never even invoiced me?

Just leave it but make sure you have the money to pay it when they do invoice you

I doubt they’d refuse to treat you, but they’d probably expect the money when they realised.

If they have a half decent accounting system, they’ll realise at some point. I believe invoices can be issued/chased for up to 6 years but someone better informed may prove me wrong on that.

If you get round to ivf you’ll likely have to pay for your outstanding invoices on top of the ivf costs before you can proceed.

Pay it.

IVF clinics are pretty good at rinsing you for money <bitter experience> so they will realise at some point. I wouldn’t go out of my way to follow it up tho.

I just had a private hospital invoice me 50p that they forgot to charge me something when I had surgery in 2020, so I imagine they’ll invoice you at some point! I personally wouldn’t stress about pointing out their mistake to them though.
