We live in a small town . Myself and another woman were friends with another woman .

a new couple came to live here.
they made friends with one of our group and since then set up meeting up with them at least twice a week set days calling it their club .
our friend stll came out with us initially but looked awkward when with us if with the other couple.
since then , they had scores of parties , joined clubs etc but never invite the two old mates .
what is going on ? Why?
