I work for a company who state they are 24/7 however they aren’t in theory because they use a different business to take the calls after closing time. The staff on these hours are not as well trained on processes and we get call back requests in the day time so really it ends up with more work for the day staff.
This isn’t the 1st call centre role I’ve worked in either that states this and then has a different company work after closing.
There must be people out there that want to work for the business but can only do hours later in the day that would rather work nights. The current company I work for I’m in my probationary period and I feel like saying I’d be happy to work nights and I already do alternative weekends so I’m not too worried about unsociable hours. If the night time was working from home as well that’d be even better because my children would be asleep.
