To want my own credit card

SAHM sick of not being the main card holder if anything crops up with our credit card. Just been turned down with the online Post Office credit card (credit score good so I presume due to no income). Who gives 0 fees credit cards to SAHMs?

Try Capital One. I believe they will give you a decision without it affecting your credit score

How often does something go wrong? Maybe you need a better joint card.

Lenders have legal obligations and I think it would be considered irresponsible to pend to someone with no income. There may be some that lend based on spouse income. I'd recommend signing up to Clearscore and run a comparison to see if you are eligible for anything.

Can you get a card from whichever bank you have your current account with? They may do this based on account conduct and seeing money going in and out.
