Another report of abusive behaviour by police

Feel utterly powerless and depressed about it all.

TW as it is incredible upsetting - one woman managed to get 40 hours of CCTV footage of her time in custody. Multiple parts are missing (which I'm assuming cannot happen by accident) and she and her representatives believe she was drugged and sexually assaulted at the time.

This can't be another abuse of power which is swept under the carpet,

This is shocking

And they journey from arrest to arriving at the station took 90 minutes, which apparantly was an excessive amount of time.
Not a good day for Greater Manchester police im afraid. A guy who was wrongly convicted of rape after serving 17 years was released today.

There is another thread on this - but things to consider.

The missing footage may have been not disclosed as it is part of the investigation, now that she has made a complaint.

The 90 minutes before getting into custody. Delays often happen in getting people into custody. You basically join a queue system in the holding room. depending on how many are in front of you, you can often have a wait of 3 hours plus. If the holding room is full, you have to wait in the van.

If she was drugged and sexually assaulted during this time - then i hope the people/officers responsible and jailed.
