AIBU to be worried about the horses in Kiotari?

I know, I know there were all sorts of animals hurt in the awful Rhodes wildfires.

But I keep thinking about the horseriding centres that operated on the beach in Kiotari which was the worst impacted area and just wondered if anyone has heard anything re if the horses escaped or got moved to safety?

I wondered that too. I always wonder what I’d do with mine in an emergency. Like if we were invaded and I had to flee.

I vaguely remember reading something about the wildfires in California in the mid 00s - I think the general protocol was to open doors and gates and the animals would naturally take themselves down to the shoreline.

I also feel very sad about cats, dogs and other small pets, as well as wildlife.
