... to think Gary Lineker is odd?

Or more correctly his relationship with his second ex-wife is odd? They split and divorced years ago yet he's on holiday with her. They never had children together but she has a (now adult) child with her first husband and one with her second to whom she's still married, happily I understand (as much as I can understand from the papers).

Lineker says they speak three times a day and text all the time. If this was happening to any Mumsnetters they'd be on here complaining about it and rightly so.

What does Danielle Bux's husband think about this I wonder and how does he put up with it?

It's all most strange.

I’m kind of disappointed as I thought this might be a thread generally about Gary Lineaker. I’ve always found myself annoyed by him and thought he seemed a bit smarmy and false. I always wondered if he was really as nice as his image.

but that has nothing to do with the wife/ex situation. I assume maybe he and her have just developed their relationship into a friendship. Thought calls 3 x per day seems extreme for any relationship. There’s no one I want to talk to that much 😂

They arecfriebds. Didn't work out romantically but great mates. My step mum was like that with her ex. Terrible as a couple. Great as friends

Do you think that they can't then call out the shitty behaviour of governments because of past behaviour. That's not hypocritical. I am a very different person to who I was in my youth so are most

I think a lot of people pigeonholed him as a footballer and think anything outside of that is getting out of his box. That seems to be the case on Twitter anyway. I’m ok with him having and sharing his opinions. Some I agree with and some I don’t 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm great friends with my ex and his wife, as is my husband. I message the ex all the time, and they come and stay with us at least once a year. No jealously or drama necessary.
