Can any qualified solicitor certify a Land Registry ID1 form?

Hi all,

I am in the process of transferring a proporty into my sole name (DH and I are gettign divorced).

A friend is a qualified solicitor, could she certify that DH is signing the ID1 or does it need to be a licensed conveyancing solicitor or notary?

Sorry to put this in AIBU, trying to get it all sorted before next mortgage payment.

Thanks in advance.
