They look all friendly when they come off the spaceship

But they kidnap a child from his mum as she desperately tries to hold onto him.
Break up a family by making the Dad basically just completely focus on them and to lose his mind.

Oh - and also abduct a whole load of other people over the years.

🤭They might not see abduction in the same way, like when we see an injured creature and take it home to fix it , aren't we doing the same thing? Also do we always know that the injured creature is a child or a parent 🤔.
I thought I'd join in because I too am bored.

Watched ET recently suddenly realised Elliot was a 10 year old kid and ET was obviously a mature adult-that gave me a whole different view of the film! The special effects hold up well though!

You cabt judge aliens by human standards, its like comparing the actions of a wolf or a squirrel to the actions of a human to the power of 10. And the ET aliens are lovely compared to the Independence Day aliens, or the Alien aliens.

Will they didn't try to enslave humanity or demolish Earth to put in a hyperspace bypass so that makes them pretty nice on the fictional alien scale.

They didn't try to read them any poetry either.So that's good.
