Think I might have clicked on a suspicious link

Selling something on Facebook and got a message from someone asking if I could click on a link to check whether it was the same item. I did (d'oh) and it just took me to a random website. I didn't enter any details obviously but now I'm worried it's a malicious link. The Facebook user's profile was only created this year. Is there any way to check if any malware has been installed? I'm on a MacBook Pro. Also am I safe so long as I didn't input any details?

Your anti virus software should allow you to run a check on your device?
I did this once - very convincing phishing text purporting to come from EE. I realised when part way through entering details, so didn’t submit them. No subsequent issues.

I'm on a MacBook so I don't have any anti virus software. I mean is it a phishing link if it doesn't ask you to input any details? Mmmm.

Sounds unlikely

I’ve never had a MacBook but I’d be surprised if there wasn’t some ability to run a security check on the device?
