Am I right to be suspicious of this meeting?

A local networking meeting for beginners and experienced investors in the property market.

Someone is advertising and trying to get people to pay to go to a meeting to meet other people who might be interested in investing in property?

Am I right to think this isnt genuine and a waste of money?

Why would you give away your secrets about making money, surely you would just carry on making more for yourself?

Has anyone attended one?

I would not be going.
Your spidey sense did good.

It's probably hawking a timeshare.

They may be selling a course where you can pay to learn how to make money...

There's a group line that advertising near me, I dont know if you have to pay to go but I vaguely know the person who runs it and it's not dodgy in anyway or no more than any other type of franchise

Teaching about how to make money from property is pretty common, I'm sure you can work it out yourself but shortcut the process by learning from someone whose already done it

They make money through lending to you as well, as I understand it
